WRITING

At Arizona State, I've had the opportunity to cover ASU's baseball and men's hockey teams on a beat for the Walter Cronkite Sports Network and Devils in Detail respectively. I have also written stories on ASU women's hockey and soccer for WCSN. Additionally, I've covered the Arizona Fall League for A's Farm, written about Arizona high school sports for AZPreps365 and done some freelance writing as well. I have experience writing previews, game stories and features, below you can find a few samples of my work, as swell archives of of my writing, which is updated regularly.
BASEBALL WRITING
WCSN: Making the most of every opportunity: How passion and loyalty brought Ty Neal to Arizona State
ASU Baseball hired a quality control analyst for the 2018 season, a position unfamiliar to college baseball. The man behind the position is one with a story that goes keep beyond baseball.
WCSN: Devils battle all weekend, but drop two of three to No. 5 Beavers in Corvallis
ASU Baseball traveled north to face the country's No. 5 -ranked team and while they were consistently in every game, the Sun Devils cold not leave Corvallis with a series win.
 
HOCKEY WRITING
WCSN: Borges and team play complete effort as Devils dig dagger in Denver
After struggling to play well in every aspect of a game for 60 minutes, defense, offense and special teams finally came together for the ASU women's hockey team as they topped the University of Denver.
WCSN: Inaugural games between Devils and Lopes establish fierce feud for years to come
The 2017-18 season welcomed a new ACHA hockey team to Arizona. The newly-created Grand Canyon University women's team immediately developed a rivalry with Arizona State that will surely intensify as the programs grow.
