I'm Nick Badders

I currently serve as the Radio Broadcaster for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals (Double-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals). I'm also the lead play-by-play voice of the Australian Baseball League's Melbourne Aces and one of the ABL's lead voices for national broadcasts Fox Sports in Australia and internationally on AT&T SportsNet and NBC Sports Regional Networks in the United States.

I'm a May 2020 graduate of Arizona State's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and outside of broadcasting, I'm an award-winning sports photographer. Previously, I've spent seasons with the Elizabethton Twins (Minnesota Twins Advanced Rookie Affiliate) and Sonoma Stompers (Independent Pacific Association).

While attending ASU, I served as the voice of Sun Devil women's soccer and women's ice hockey, while having also called ASU basketball, baseball, softball and men's ice hockey and shot photos of nearly every sport Sun Devil Athletics has to offer.

"Any good broadcast, not just an Olympic broadcast, should have texture to it. It should have information, should have some history, should have something that's offbeat, quirky, humorous, and where called for it, should have journalism, and judiciously it should also have commentary. That's my ideal." - Bob Costas

After two seasons in the Australian Baseball League, I was named the lead broadcaster for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, Double-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. I'll call all home games for the team, while assisting with media relations and other duties.
